I love the purple, and I also like it because it is different. This is a great phone & conversation piece. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who enjoys something special.
Found online and ordered. Arrived promptly. Daughter loves purple and requested old type phone for christmas. She loves it.
Cheap plastic, weighs practically nothing. If you get within 5 feet of it you can tell this is no vintage phone. Not worth the 50 bucks, sending it back. I was disappointed with this phone when I received it. Yes, it is vintage looking but that is about it. The hand receiver has no meat to it.
This phone has a genuine bell ringer. It's a nice looking retro piece that can garner comments from people who visit.especially if it happens to ring while they're there. The dial is a touch keypad in the shape of a rotary dial, so it's functional for calls to menu systems where you need to push numbers to get through. It's a solid quality product that does everything it's supposed to do well. It's getting harder and harder to find phones that simply plug into a phone jack and work. I consider having one such phone in my home essential for use when there's a power outage. So I was pleased to find this at Target (who have since discontinued selling them). No electronic sound effects.
heavy and solid. The only problem I have is the handle is very heavy and big. I have a purple room and this phone was the final touch. It is mainly for show so i dont use it much (cell). Good quality.
